Before
Wax Appointment
(If this is your first time getting waxed I recommend you take Ibuprofen 30- 45 minutes before your appointment)
Exfoliate Gently: Exfoliate the area 24-48 hours before the appointment to remove dead skin cells, helping prevent ingrown hairs.
Avoid Moisturizers or Oils: On the day of the appointment, skip any creams, lotions, or oils on the area being waxed, as they can make hair harder to grip.
Grow Hair Out to the Right Length: Recommend at least 1/4 inch of hair growth (about two weeks of growth) for optimal results.
Avoid Caffeine and Alcohol: Please avoid these for at least a few hours beforehand, as they can heighten skin sensitivity.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing to avoid irritation post-wax.
Hydrate Well: Drinking water helps keep the skin healthy and reduces sensitivity.
Avoid Sun Exposure and Heat: Recommend staying out of direct sun or any heat treatments (like tanning or saunas) 24 hours before the appointment.

After Wax Appointment
Avoid Heat: For the first 24-48 hours, avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and tanning to prevent irritation.
Wear Loose Clothing: Opt for loose, breathable clothing to prevent friction and reduce the risk of irritation in the waxed area.
Avoid Touching or Scratching: Refrain from touching or scratching the waxed area to reduce the chance of bacteria entering open follicles.
Avoid Sweating: Minimize strenuous exercise and heavy sweating for 24-48 hours to prevent bacteria from irritating the skin.
Moisturize Gently: After 24 hours, start using a gentle moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated and soft.
Exfoliate Regularly: After 48 hours, gently exfoliate 2-3 times a week to help prevent ingrown hairs.
Avoid Fragranced Products: Stay away from perfumed lotions, sprays, and other fragranced products that may irritate freshly waxed skin.
Soothe with Aloe or Cooling Gel: If there’s redness or sensitivity, apply aloe vera or a cooling gel to calm the skin.

Brow Stain
Aftercare
Results typically last 6-8 days on average. (Varies from 3-14 days depending on several factors)
Avoid Moisture: Keep brows dry for at least 24 hours post-stain to help set the color and prevent fading.
Skip Skincare on Brows: Avoid applying skincare products (cleansers, serums, etc.) directly on the brows for 24 hours, as these can affect the stain.
Avoid Sweating and Heat: Minimize activities that cause sweating, like exercise or steam rooms, for 24 hours to prevent the stain from fading.
No Makeup or Oils: Refrain from applying makeup or oils directly on the brow area, as these can break down the stain.
Limit Sun Exposure: Sunlight can fade the stain more quickly, so avoid excessive sun exposure and consider wearing a hat if you’ll be outdoors.
Use a Gentle Cleanser: After the first day, use a gentle, oil-free cleanser around the brows to help maintain the stain’s longevity.
Avoid Exfoliation: Skip exfoliating products on or near the brow area to prevent premature fading.
